Shopping Center Has New Leasing Agent, New Plans

By Jamaal O'Neal, posted Feb 6, 2012

A south Wilmington shopping center has a new primary leasing firm.

Nicholas Silivanch, primary broker with Team Silivanch of Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners, said Monday his team will now assume the primary leasing responsibilities for the Fulton Station Shopping Center.

Cape Fear Commercial formerly leased the shopping center, located at 3700 S. College Road.

The 31,500-square-foot shopping plaza was constructed in 2004, and caters to shoppers in the heavily residential south Wilmington and Monkey Junction markets. The site also fronts two heavily traveled locations — College Road and 17th Street. Those two thoroughfares together average more than 50,000 cars a day, according to city transportation data.

Silivanch said his team is in the process of developing a marketing plan for the site that includes tenants Slice of Life Pizza, Bruster's Real Ice Cream, Corning Credit Union and Walgreens.

“It’s a great property,” Silivanch said. “There is a restaurant unit ready to go. We’re looking for a restaurant tenant to complement Slice of Life Pizza, like an Oriental or burger restaurant . . . we may also consider a pet store or daycare for the site as well.”
