Wintry weather in the Southeast and East Coast on Tuesday caused a pileup of delays at some airports in the region, including Wilmington International.

While the worst of this week's storm avoided coastal North Carolina, ILM arrivals and departures are affected by conditions at other airports, including Charlotte. By mid-afternoon Tuesday, many incoming and outgoing flights from Wilmington had posted delays.

A notice on ILM's website advised travelers and those anticipating arriving passengers to check with the relevant airline to confirm the status of a particular flight. The website also has a page that shows flights' current arrival and departure status.
