Local Wells Fargo Mortgage Office Hires Hampton And Smith

The Wilmington office of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, a division of Wells Fargo Bank, has announced the hiring of two new home mortgage consultants.

Kimberly Hampton has more than eight years of industry experience and possesses “extensive knowledge of the North Carolina real estate market,” a news release stated, adding that, prior to joining Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Hampton was a Realtor for Laney Real Estate in Wilmington.

Kathleen Smith (at left), who previously was a banker at Wells Fargo Bank’s Leland office, has now joined the mortgage operation. She has more than 10 years of financial and industry experience, and brings “extensive knowledge of the mortgage financing industry and the state’s real estate market,” the release stated.
