Membership, as an old ad campaign goes, has its privileges.
When the membership is at City Club de Rosset, the real privilege is access to one of downtown Wilmington’s oldest and grandest homes so full of Southern charm and elegance, it’s as perfect a setting for a quiet dinner as it is a lively outdoor party, a busy business meeting or casual lunch with potential clients. And the other perks aren’t so bad, either.
Preferred Partners
Free to all club members, the Preferred Partners program is a great way for budding and seasoned entrepreneurs alike to spread the word about their businesses and network with other business owners. The program gives you massive exposure of your company, shop, restaurant or firm to your fellow club patrons. And you receive a 15 percent discount to all other participating businesses, as well as a listing on the City Club de Rosset website.
Conference Facilities
Need to stage a presentation or a space for a company meeting? City Club de Rosset’s business accommodations are available to members with no rental fee or other facilities costs involved.
Reciprocal Clubs
Whether it’s business or pleasure that puts you on the road, you’ll have access to dozens of participating social clubs – as nearby as Charlotte and as far away as Anchorage, Alaska – which will provide you ample opportunities to meet new people or make new professional connections on your travels.
Guest Suites
Need a place to accommodate clients, family or friends overnight? Wow them with one of City Club’s four luxury suites that make guests feel like they’re stepping back into the antebellum past – but with modern conveniences and within walking distance of downtown dining and nightlife.
Special Events
With its impressive stature, gorgeous décor and expansive gardens, the de Rosset House is the perfect venue for weddings, birthdays, promotions, retirements and reunions. And the house comes staffed with experts to help plan your event down to the last detail. Throughout the year, City Club also hosts annual festivities to help you celebrate with family, friends or that special someone. Annual events include: a Valentine’s Day dinner; Easter and Mother’s Day brunches, as well as brunch with Santa; a Father’s Day celebration; an Independence Day picnic; a Thanksgiving buffet and a “Dickens Dinner.”
Wine Club
Do you a fancy yourself an oenophile? If you like to sip and chat about fine wine, this club offers the opportunity to do both with other members who, like you, enjoy the finer things in life. And you’ll receive fantastic savings on wine purchases – by the bottle or by the case.
And, of course, there’s always fine dining on the menu when you’re a member of City Club at de Rosset. The club is open Wednesday through Friday to serve lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Dinner service runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and a weekly Sunday brunch is held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
