Infectious Diseases Unit Now In New Space

By Jenny Callison, posted Aug 11, 2014
One of Wilmington Health’s units has moved to a newer space, the health care organization announced Monday. Its infectious diseases practice has relocated from shared space at Medical Center Drive to 2421 Silver Stream Lane.

The practice was open and seeing patients on Monday, said Wilmington Health spokeswoman Alyssa Bostick. The physicians associated with the unit, Gina Berthold, Paul Kamitsuka and Matthew Sincock, all are board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases and treat a variety of infections, according to a news release from Wilmington Health.

In addition to being newer than the facility on Medical Center Drive, the Silver Stream location is entirely on the ground floor, providing better accessibility for patients and more space to grow, Bostick said.
