By Cam Ellis, posted Nov 26, 2013

New Hanover Regional Medical Center recently announced the addition of two new members to its board of trustees, as well as a new board chairman.

Jerome Fennell and Jason Thompson join the board, while John Pace will serve as chairman of the board.

Fennell previously served as the director of property management for New Hanover County, while Thompson formerly served as a New Hanover County commissioner. They will both serve three-year terms.

Robert Lubanski and Carl Brown rotated off the board after nine and ten years of service, respectively, according to a news release.

Ronald Isyk and Patricia Leonard also were reappointed.

“The medical staff’s representation on the Board now includes Clyde Harris, M.D., as Chief of Staff, Philip Brown, M.D., as Chief of Staff-Elect, and Henry Patel, M.D., as Immediate Past Chief of Staff,” the release stated.

The board’s officers are: Richard McGraw as vice chairman, Isyk as treasurer, Robert Greer as secretary and Leonard and John D. Fuller as members at large.
