By Ken Little, posted Oct 2, 2009

Dr. Pamela Novosel recently joined the staff of Cape Fear OB/GYN.

Novosel most recently served as an administrative chief resident in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center resident OB/GYN program.

Novosel joins doctors Linda McClain and Joel Snipe, in addition to nurse practitioners Carol Flaugher and Susan Lorencz, at Cape Fear OB/GYN. She is accepting new patients.

“I am excited to be in Wilmington and look forward to serving the health care needs of women in this community. My priority is to provide excellent care to our patients at every stage of their life, from childbirth to menopause,” Novosel said in a prepared statement.

Novosel attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa., as an undergraduate in medical technology. After several years as a medical technologist, she decided to further her passion for medicine and attended medical school at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville.

“I am excited to join the wonderful physicians at Cape Fear OB/GYN and I am looking forward to developing long-term relationships with patients in this community,” she said.
Novosel’s office is at 1717 Shipyard Blvd., Suite 200.
