Fresh off a national championship, new UNCW basketball coach C.B. McGrath inherits a team with three straight conference championships and back-to-back NCAA appearances.

Coach McGrath was on Roy Williams’ coaching staff for 18 seasons, including four at the University of Kansas and the past 14 at the University of North Carolina. He also played for Williams at Kansas, lettering for four years and serving as team captain in 1997. The Jayhawks were a perfect 58-0 at home during his playing career.

Coach McGrath has been a part of three national championship teams. At the Power Breakfast on June 15, we’ll ask him about lessons other organizations can learn from his experience on a number of topics such as recruiting, leadership styles and getting a diverse group of people to accomplish a common goal.
