Ebbing Branding + Design Wins National Advertising Award

By Staff Reports, posted Sep 21, 2021
Wilmington agency Ebbing Branding + Design recently earned a Silver ADDY award.

The honor, part of the 2021 National ADDY from the American Advertising Awards, was for the firm’s packaging design on End of Days Distillery’s Port of Entry Series.

Ebbing Branding + Design specializes in advertising and design in the craft beer, wine and spirits industries. Wilmington’s End of Days Distillery is a small-batch artisan distillery featuring handcrafted spirits.

While Ebbing Branding + Design has won several honors at the local and regional levels – earning 35 AAF awards in the past three years – this is its first national award from the American Advertising Awards, officials said in a news release. Local winners advance to a multi-state regional level and must win again for a chance to be judged at the national level, according to a news release.

“With over 35,000 entries, the American Advertising Federation states, ‘statistically, winning a National ADDY is the hardest advertising and design award to achieve in the United States,’” the release stated.

“We look at the success of our clients rather than the awards we rack up to evaluate our own success,” Matt Ebbing, founder and creative director of Ebbing Branding + Design, said in the release, “but this level of recognition for our team’s hard work is remarkable.”
