Wilmington Design Co. has hired Hunter Rimmer as a digital marketing strategist.

Rimmer graduated from Appalachian State University with a business management degree, officials said in a release.

She went on to work as a logistics program coordinator for a diving and sailing company, spending three months working and traveling by sailboat in the Leeward Islands.

She later took a job as a content creator with a marketing and public relations agency while living in Raleigh.

Missing the coastal lifestyle, Rimmer began to seek opportunities in the Wilmington area. After her search, Rimmer joined Wilmington Design Co.
