Mizelle has taken on the role of director of Land Development, Wilmington at WithersRavenel, a civil and environmental engineering, geomatics and landscape architecture firm, according to a news release. In this capacity, he will be responsible for allocating resources and providing expert guidance on land development projects in the Coastal region.

Mizelle will also work to "increase the firm’s visibility as a premier provider of land development and planning services, including residential and commercial development, planning and landscape architecture, transportation, parks and recreation, and construction administration services," officials said in the release.

Mizelle is a professional land planner and development project manager with 25 years of experience in public and private sector development projects.

Since joining WithersRavenel in 2015, he has managed the planning, permitting and design of numerous residential, commercial and industrial projects across the state, including several in the coastal region.

His ability to assemble and lead teams of design professionals to achieve the unique vision of each client will be "vital to the growth of the department and the firm’s coastal presence," officials said.
