Wilmington Central Rotary Announces Officers, Gifts

At a recent banquet, the Wilmington Central Rotary announced its incoming class of new officers and also recognized the more than $30,000 the organization has raised for local charities, according to a news release.
 
Under the leadership of president Dwight Campbell, Wilmington Central Rotary raised more than $30,000, the release stated. Charities that received donations included organizations such as 514 Revolution, American Heart Association, Domestic Violence Shelter, Kids Making It, Lower Cape Fear Hospice, The Harrelson Center, The Miracle League and several others.
 
The incoming officers are: Buddy Martinette, president; Jean Cherry, president-elect; Erik Gray, vice-president; Jeannette Woodruff, treasurer; Sarah Martinette, secretary; Dwight Campbell, past president; Travis Few, sergeant at arms; and Amanda Baker, Gary Broughton, Jeremy Tomlinson and Renée Jones as directors.
