101 Mobility has named Kathy Thiessen, former Merry Maids director of sales in Memphis, as the firm's new vice president of franchise operations.

101 Moblity, a Wilmington-based retailer, installer, and service provider of mobility solutions, brought Thiessen on to continue its success, the company's news release stated.

“We are very excited to have Kathy as part of the senior management team at 101 Mobility,” 101 Mobility president Dave Pazgan said in the release. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience after over 30 years in the franchising industry. Kathy will be a big part of our maturation as a world-class franchisor.”

The  company's growth recently landed it on Entrepreneur magazine's just-published list of top new franchises. 101 Mobility was 29th out of 75 franchises and was the area's only company on that list.
