Shameena Broach is South State Bank’s new retail sales leader for its Wilmington region, the bank announced earlier this month.
 
Broach is not new to South State Bank. She joined the company in 2007 as an accounting assistant and has since served as a financial services representative and an assistant branch manager, according to the announcement news release.

A graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, NC, Broach earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, the release stated. She is also a graduate of Leadership Wilmington, which honored her with the program’s Outstanding Leadership and Dedicated Service to the Cape Fear Region award.

Broach serves on the boards of the Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (WARM) and the Bob Boyd Foundation & Scholarship, of which she is also treasurer. She is a volunteer with Communities in Schools and Serve It Up for Smith Scholarship, according to the news release.
