Charter One has hired John Tetterton as a new sales manager for its Home Lending Solutions Mid Atlantic Division, the company announced in a recent news release.

From his office at 1213 Culbreth Drive, Suite 223, Tetterton - the company's first area representative - will serve the lending institution’s eastern North Carolina region, the release stated.

Before coming to Charter One, Tetterton was Wilmington market manager for SunTrust Mortgage, where he consistently earned top sales awards, the release stated. He has worked in the home financing industry in the region for nearly 30 years and is a member of the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association and the N.C. Board of Realtors.

Tetterton holds an MBA from University of North Carolina Wilmington and an undergraduate degree in business and economics from N.C. State University, the release stated.

Charter One is a division of Citizens Financial Group, based in Providence, Rhode Island.
