Rachel Coucoulas has joined Home Care Assistance of Wilmington as its new managing director, the home care provider announced in a recent press release.

Coucoulas will “largely focus on the company’s transformation to personal care services and implementing programs such as Hospital to Home Care and the Cognitive Therapeutics Method, an innovative approach to in-home dementia care,” the release stated.

“As the managing director I will be responsible for bringing the company from strictly providing companion care to proving high-level personal care when the home health care moratorium is lifted,” Coucoulas said. “Having the services available that allow a senior to age in place at home, where ever home may be, is extremely satisfying.”

Coucoulas received her bachelor’s of science from Adelphi University, and she has spent the past 10 years of her career in the senior care industry.
