Martin Coyne is the new chief technology officer for Wilmington-based Connected Investors, the online real estate investors network announced in a recent press release.
 
Coyne has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and will “play a key role in shaping CI’s technology strategy as the company embarks on its next phase of growth and launches their marketplace called the CIX,” according to the release.
 
"Immediately after I engaged with Connected Investors as a consultant, it became clear to me that Ross' vision to truly impact the entire Real Estate Investment Marketplace was achievable," Coyne said in the release.  "Because it was developed with and powered by the largest network of real estate investors in the world, CiX.com can transform the market in a way in which others simply cannot.”
 
After working at General Telephone & Electronics Corporation and Motorola, Coyne created his own global consulting practice which helped businesses “develop and deliver disruptive solutions to the market,” according to the release.
 
Connected Investors is an online social network for real estate investors, “minimizing risks while maintaining a selective, conservative and knowledgeable approach to business development,” according to the company’s website. CiX is Connected Investors’ marketplace, which standardizes the property acquisition process.
