Orthopaedic Specialists recently announced in a press release the hiring of Susan Kirkendol as the medical group’s marketing director.
 
Kirkendol will “oversee and coordinate integrated marketing and communication efforts for the practice,” according to the press release.
 
She will also work to increase relationships with other area physicians, employers and workers compensation case managers.
 
A graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Kirkendol most recently served as marketing director of a Wilmington dental practice and a human resources staffer in a Knoxville health care system.
