The North Carolina Battleship recently announced the addition of Meaghan Holmes as promotions director.
 
As a spokeswomen and promotion director for the Battleship attraction, Holmes is responsible for managing its advertising and marketing programs, operating its marketing budget and working with local, regional and national mediums to promote tourism to the Battleship, a news release stated.
 
The University of North Carolina Wilmington graduate has 13 years’ experience with property management, marketing and leasing, specifically in the Wilmington area, the release stated. Prior to this job, Holmes served as the marketing director and specialty leasing manager at Independence Mall.
