Jim Hundley is Thomas Construction Group’s new vice president of business development and marketing, the company announced recently.

“Jim brings more than 22 years of managerial and executive level professional business affluence to Thomas Construction Group,” a news release stated. “Serving his new role, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the corporate business development and marketing efforts for Thomas.  As an on-going practice, Jim will work with the firm’s management team to create and implement long-term growth strategic opportunities.”

Hundley, a Wilmington native, currently serves the Wilmington Family YMCA as chairman of its Long Range Planning Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee for the YMCA’s board of directors. He received an MBA from University of North Carolina Wilmington and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hampden-Sydney College.

“I sought Jim out specifically because of his unique background, reputation and principles. He is the right person to represent Thomas as he leads our business development and marketing initiatives,” Chris Reid, president of Thomas Construction Group, said in the release.

Thomas Construction Group, based in Wilmington, is a full-service general contractor.
