Update: This version updates Kip Damrow's title.

Kip Damrow, director of sales of the Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center, was awarded the 2013 Director of Sales Success Award, according to a recent news release.
 
The award is given to four of the top directors of sales with outstanding leadership, achieves personal and hotel performance, is a brand advocate who shows great sales leadership and participates in all Hilton Worldwide and Hilton Garden Inn programs, the release stated.
 
Award-winners were selected from 585 Hilton Garden Inn hotels worldwide, officials said.
 
“I am honored to be recognized by the Hilton Garden Inn brand with the Success Award,” Damrow said in a statement. “Our team works each day to provide excellent customer service for our guests letting them know they can count on us to make their stay comfortable. It is because of that commitment I am able to accept this award.”
