Coastal Horizons Hires Development Director

Coastal Horizons Center Inc. announced that Jamie Thompson will be its new development director.

According to the agency’s news release, Thompson will handle multiple aspects of fundraising while also leading and managing Coastal Horizons’ overall development efforts and management of donor relations. She will be responsible for developing and managing ongoing giving programs, managing major special events fundraising and handling other related developmental events.

Thompson previously held positions at New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation and Country Club of Landfall.

Coastal Horizons Center is a private agency that provides a continuum of services for sexual assault victims, substance abusers and individuals with mental health issues. It offers crisis intervention, criminal justice alternatives and treatment of substance abuse and mental health disorders.
