Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity has announced two recent personnel changes.

Lynne Wooten has joined the organization as its development director, responsible for advancing Habitat’s fundraising efforts and increasing major gifts. She comes to Wilmington from Charlotte, where she worked for a “large area nonprofit managing million-dollar fundraising campaigns,” according to a news release.

Jessica Loeper (at left) has been promoted to the position of director of outreach. In her new job, she is responsible for managing marketing, grants and special events for Cape Fear Habitat.

“With Lynne and Jessica’s collaboration, they will build valuable relationships with members of the community, raise awareness about Habitat, and increase our fundraising efforts – which will allow us to build more homes and serve more families,” Steve Spain, Cape Fear Habitat’s director, said in the release.
