The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College has announced a new partnership with Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

The partnership will up the ante of show service through “The Opera Box Experience with Ruth’s Chris Steak House,” according to a Wilson Center release Tuesday.

The new in-show experience includes an array of gourmet hors d’oeuvres, drinks and “a generous selection of sweet and savory treats,” which includes chocolate chip cookies. It also includes a top-notch view of the theater, privacy and a personal attendant.

Each event will include optional upgrades for an additional fee, including dessert options of chocolate sin cake or cheesecake. Bottle service is another option, with three wine choices and champagne from Veuve Clicquot. Six opera boxes are available each show on the grand tier, including two four-person boxes and four six-person boxes. These opera boxes must be purchased either over the phone or in person. Dessert upgrades must be arranged within two weeks' notice of each show.

Ruth’s Chris opened its first location in Wilmington in River Place in January. Shane Fernando, the Wilson Center’s artistic director, said he was looking forward to the partnership.

“We are so excited to welcome one of the most trusted and esteemed names in the hospitality sector to the Center,” he said in the release. “Partnering with Ruth's Chris Steak House will make our highest level of service, our opera boxes, even more special to those who have come to love the experience and delight those who may try it for the first time.”
