Williams Joins Phoenix Employment Ministry

Phoenix Employment Ministry has hired Lauren Williams as its life skills manager, according to a release from the nonprofit organization.

She is responsible for leading, developing and supporting the growth of the life skills program, which encompasses such skills as goal setting, time management, workplace communications and achieving work-life balance.

Prior to joining the nonprofit, Williams served as program director of Inspired Learning 21st Century Community Learning Center in Catawba County. She also has “significant experience” in developing child welfare and youth programs, the release stated.

Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit leadership and management from High Point University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of South Carolina, the release stated.
