The Forté Institute, a global behavioral sciences firm, recently promoted Caroline Merrill as its new managing director of accounts and projects.

As managing director, Merrill’s primary responsibilities with the firm are to oversee and manage a client database consisting of more than 6,500 global clients as well as supervise the development of current and future projects, according to a recent announcement by The Forté Institute.

Merrill received a communication studies degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2012. She joined the company in client services and rose to several supervisory roles within her position.

Merrill brings more than six years of customer service, marketing and project management experience to the company, officials with the company said.

“Caroline hit the street running, and hasn’t stopped since,” said C.D. “Hoop” Morgan III, founder and chairman of The Forté Institute. “We first met Caroline as she completed several Forté projects during her senior year at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and we were fortunate enough to bring her on board to initially lead Client Services. Her ability to initiate and manage a variety of projects is definitely her forte.”
