Info Junkie: Craig Stinson

Craig Stinson
Creator, Arts In Wilmington/ Broker, Intracoastal Realty

Craig Stinson wears dual hats: He runs Arts In Wilmington, a calendar of regional arts events and opportunities, and works for Intracoastal Realty. He navigates those two worlds with the aid of his trusty laptop and smartphone “though my most important piece of technology is a bit more analog. I keep a Moleskine Cahier journal with me at all times. If I have something to remember or an idea, it goes in there.”

Besides local publications, he regularly reads Vanity Fair, The Atlantic and The Economist.

Online, he checks out sites for the entities he created: Arts In Wilmington and Arts Friendly. “I am on the Intracoastal Realty site all the time. I love Seth Godin’s daily blog.”

Stinson’s favorite podcast is NPR’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross “because it’s always interesting,” as well as FiveThirtyEight’s Politics Podcast and Social Media Marketing.

He is always reading a few books at a time. In his current rotation: The Plot Against America by Philip Roth, New Seeds of Contemplation by Thomas Merton and How to Write Copy That Sells by Ray Edwards.

In the apps world, he uses a lot of the Google apps; Facebook for arts and real estate work; and Amazon’s cart feature to keep track of books he might want to read.
