Owner,
Wolfe Wealth Management
President- Elect,
N.C. Azalea Festival

Wolfe handles the financial affairs of families in the Wilmington and Leland area. And for the past few years he’s been helping to steer the N.C. Azalea Festival, which this year will be April 5-9. “My biggest area of responsibility is the concerts this year,” he said. Both jobs require Wolfe to stay connected to his tech.

At his day job, he’s reading feeds from the wire services, equity quotes “and all the client tools that I use.” Among his go-to sites? Seeking Alpha, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Fox Business and Business Insider.

But it’s not all pure finance. He also loves to keep up with the latest biotech advances. He recommends Fiercebiotech.com, Nature Biotechnology and biotech-now.org.

In the realm of podcasts and sites: “The golf bug has gotten a hold of me bad,” Wolfe said, so he looks forward to new episodes of the podcast from the No Laying Up blog.

A history buff, Wolfe just finished reading a pair of Brian Kilmeade’s books – George Washington’s Secret Six and Thomas Jefferson and the Tripoli Pirates. “I thought both were great topics that I hadn’t heard a lot about.”

Wolfe loves his iPad, so he’s often glued to multiple apps. “I use my Bloomberg app a lot when I am out of the office as well as my CRM app. Also Twitter to try and stay on top of the news and financial markets.” When he’s in festival mode, he’s religiously checking weather apps. And, of course, “people should get the Azalea Festival app – it has lots of good info on it.”
