Local Job Postings Site To Launch

By V.L. Craven, posted Mar 10, 2016

Cape Fear Jobs is a soon-to-be-launched website that will allow both employers and job seekers in the Cape Fear region to post and apply to jobs in the area.

The site (capefearjobs.com) is intended to allow employers to reach nearby job seekers and help those looking for work keep from getting lost on worldwide job search boards.

“Cape Fear Jobs provides a locally focused career site that is more than a place to post and find locals jobs,” company officials said in a news release.

The president and CEO is Corey Lewis, who is also the president and director of recruiting of Alliance Career Group.

“This site means a lot to me personally. I have had a vision for a long time to make the hiring and job seeking process much easier for everyone, and I truly believe that this is the start of something very special for our community,” Lewis said in the release.

Lewis said he plans to launch the site at the WilmingtonBiz Conference & Expo at 2 p.m. March 30 at his company’s exhibit hall booth.

He said the site also will include company profiles, business services and advertising. On the job seeker’s end, Cape Fear Jobs will offer resume consultation and writing services, interview tips and preparation services, the release stated.

“It is a full service local solution where our goal is not to be just another job board, but to bring together the community to one location and offers products and services not found under one roof,” the release stated.
