Locals Buy Online Business, Move Operations To Wilmington

Two local entrepreneurs bought a company called Picture Hang Solutions recently and moved its operations to Wilmington.
Two local entrepreneurs recently bought an online business and relocated the company from Chapel Hill to Wilmington.

Dana Jaunzemis and Tammy Arnold of Art Hardware LLC bought Picture Hang Solutions, an e-commerce firm, in May for an undisclosed sum, the pair announced this week.

Since 2005, Picture Hang Solutions has been providing picture hanging hardware to businesses and museums nationwide through its website, govart.com, according to a company news release.

For Arnold, who works in the film industry, Picture Hang Solutions is her first foray into e-commerce. Jaunzemis, CEO of Art Hardware, has built a career out of buying smaller businesses and taking them to the next level, she said. Currently, she also owns HomeHealthTesting.com and POCTestSupply.com, which both supply drug tests to individuals and businesses.

The new owners moved operations for Picture Hang Solutions, including offices and storage, to 44 Darlington Ave. in Wilmington. They also revamped the look of the company's website.

“It’s got a great track record online, and I like the customer base,” Jaunzemis said of her decision to buy the company with Arnold. “It fit the things I look for when I’m buying a business.”
