Jonathan and Jennifer Weiss, owners of St. Thomas Preservation Hall and City Club of Wilmington, launched the Wilmington Wedding App this month.

The Weisses have become familiar with the local wedding market after hosting more than 300 ceremonies in past eight years at the venues, according to a news release.

A free download from the iTunes App Store or Google Play, it allows “brides and grooms to discover, compare and connect with the best local vendors and take advantage of
exclusive discounts and offers” according to the release.

The app includes features such as a budget manager, calendar of local wedding events and shows and thank-you card manager.

An official launch party takes place 5:30-7 p.m. March 27 at the City Club. The event is free, but attendees are asked to RSVP to [email protected].
