Next Glass Adds 3 New Members To Board

By Tom Leary, posted Mar 17, 2014
Next Glass Inc., a Wilmington-based wine and beer technology company, added three new members to its board of directors. Thomas Dickson, Ray Groth and Scott Sullivan were appointed to the company’s board earlier this year, according to a news release.

Next Glass is a research and technology company that uses advanced science and software to deliver beer and wine recommendations for consumers and retailers.

Dickson retired as chairman and chief executive officer of Harris Teeter Supermarkets Inc. in January. Previously, he served as the president of American & Efird Inc., Harris Teeter’s former subsidiary.

Groth is a managing director at Axum Capital Partners in Charlotte. He is also formerly an adjunct professor at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Previously, Groth served as head of the mergers and acquisitions group at The First Union Securities.

Sullivan is a co-founder of Wilmington-based Cameron Management, currently overseeing the daily operation of the firm.
