Sage Island Welcomes New Digital Media Specialist

Katelynn Watkins has joined the Sage Island team.

As the new digital media specialist, Watkins will work directly with Sage Island’s clients, helping them develop and execute solutions for their marketing needs, according to a press release from Sage Island, Wilmington-based a digital marketing agency.

Watkins, who came to Wilmington early this year, brings a strong background in marketing and journalism to the Sage Island team, officials said in the release. She holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in mass communications from the University of North Carolina Asheville and is starting a master’s degree via Emerson College this fall.

Her past client list includes, Diana Wortham Theatre, The Wilderness Society, and Asheville Symphony Orchestra. She has also been published by North Brunswick Magazine, Wrightsville Beach Magazine, and Cape Fear Living as well as WNC magazine in western North Carolina.
