New lingerie and swimwear boutique Lilies and Lace will open on Monday, April 2 in Lumina Station. Owners James and Stella Sardone have operated the flagship store in Armonk, New York for 23 years.

A grand opening party will be held on Tuesday, April 3 from 5-8 p.m. The store is located at 1900 Eastwood Road, unit 4, next to Cameo 19 Hundred.

Lilies and Lace will offer lingerie, sleepwear, bathing suits, shape wear and bridal attire from vendors including Cosabella, Donna Karan, Elle Macpherson and Jean Paul Gaultier. It will be open Mondays through Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays noon to 6 p.m.

“We’re just excited to be living and working here,” said James Sardone, who lived in Wilmington in the 1980s and 1990s before moving to New York. He returned to the Port City in August.

“This is our permanent residence. [But,] we have to go to Paris, Miami and New York for our buying trips,” he said.
