Wilmington-based Wine Water, which launched Rosé Water last year, recently announced a nationwide rollout of its newest varietal, Wine Water Sauvignon Blanc.

Rob and Amy Kuchar developed Rosé Water as a wine and sparkling water hybrid drink for fitness-minded customers.

“Think a fun drink for the healthy conscious,” said Rob Kuchar, who spent the past 25 years working in the wine industry.

Being a wine connoisseur, Rob Kuchar said he knows the heart that goes into making wine.

“We are wine people. We love wine and we love vinyards, so we know our venture with wine water is something new, but it works because it is healthier for the lifestyles of today,” he said.

Locally, Rosé Water is available at select retailers and now is in 45 states across the U.S., including North Carolina, Maryland, Massachusetts, South Carolina, California and Illinois. Locally it can be found at Lighthouse Beer & Wine in Wrightsville Beach, as well as at Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods and Whole Foods.

The new Wine Water Sauvignon Blanc, which combines sparkling water and sauvignon blanc wine produced in Bordeaux, France, is available in more than 1,000 retailers nationwide, company officials said.
The Kuchars are seeing a large growth of their produce and forecast 2022 to be their biggest year yet. Two more Wine Water varietals, Wine Water Cabernet and Wine Water Chardonnay, are slated to be introduced next year.
Plans are underway to develop a line of fruit-based wines from Michigan. A new brand called Sandbar is expected to come out next spring, with Tropical Punch Blend and Fruit Punch Blend.

Further product development plans are underway for 2023.
