Bill’s Front Porch Pub and Brewery has launched a food truck and will soon be taking its fan favorites on the road. Co-owner Brookes Musser said her family purchased the truck last fall and has slowly re-configured it with a wrap from Empire Graphics, and new kitchen equipment from Cape Fear Restaurant Equipment.

Now the truck is ready to roll and Musser said she is taking summer bookings for public and private events. As of now the truck will serve from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Wednesday at Advanced Automotive, 6503 Windmill Way, and will be at the Wilmington Sharks games at Legion Stadium throughout the summer.

Musser said the truck’s menu will be based on the pub’s menu, but that each venue will have the option to customize the menu somewhat to suit its event. Some of the items customers will find at public events are fried chicken plates and chicken and waffles, burgers, and tater tot skillets.

While the truck will not serve beer, Musser said the family is looking for opportunities to take part in festivals where they could have a beer tent alongside the truck.

And speaking of beer, Bill’s has several summer brews that are about to make their debut, including an orange blossom wit, a mango wheat beer, the Citra Pale Ale and Australian sparkling ale. Head brewer Jim Deaton will be canning the Citra Pale Ale as well as its peach milkshake IPA, ‘Show off Your Peaches.’

Bill’s Front Porch Pub and Brewery is located at 4238 Market St.
