In addition to its regular cafe and carry-out menus, Spoonfed Kitchen & Bake Shop at Lumina Commons is offering several seasonal catering menus as well as plenty of sweet and savory stocking stuffers for the foodies on your list.
Owners Kim and Matt Lennert have years of experience in holiday catering with their former company, Moveable Feast of Chicago. Now they’re serving up their holiday favorites here in Wilmington, along with many of their favorite gourmet treats from near and far.
Spoonfed Kitchen seasons and roasts all of its proteins in-house, including roasted turkey, a rosemary and garlic porchetta and house-smoked salmon. Holiday specialties include herb and peppercorn beef tenderloin with Cabernet gravy, dried fruit, apple and pistachio stuffed pork loin served with cider gravy, and butternut squash lasagna.
Sides by the pound include buttermilk and garlic mashed potatoes, potato and leek gratin with Gruyere cheese, five-cheese mac and cheese and sweet potato puree with honey and lime.
Whole quiche, tea breads and coffeecakes as well as cheesecakes, pies and cookie trays are available, as well as carry-out appetizers such as cheese balls, dips and spreads, antipasto platters and crab cakes.
Christmas Eve orders must be placed by 4 p.m. Dec. 21 for pick-up between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve Orders must be placed by 4 p.m. Dec. 28 for pick-up between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dec. 31.
Spoonfed is also offering a full coffee bar with fresh ground coffee from Folk’s Café, as well as adult hot chocolate with your choice of liquor. Select holiday wines are 10 percent off through Dec. 31.
