'Ocean Friendly Establishments' Offer Discount This Weekend

In conjunction with Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup Day and Local Big Sweep this weekend, the Cape Fear chapter of Surfrider and the Plastic Ocean Project are encouraging participants to refuel at designated "Ocean Friendly Establishments" where they will receive 15 percent off their food order, according to a news release.

The following eateries, according to the Surfrider release, will be offering the discount Friday through Sunday:

  • Mojos on the Harbor on Bald Head Island
  • The Foxes Boxes in downtown Wilmington
  • PinPoint Restaurant in downtown Wilmington
  • The Lazy Pirate in Carolina Beach
  • Nawab Fine Indian Cuisine in Ogden
  • SharkBites Snack Bar at Fort Fisher Aquarium
  • Epic Food Co. in The Forum, Wilmington
  • Spoonfed Kitchen and Bake Shop in Lumina Commons, Wilmington
  • Ceviche’s, Wilmington
  • Blockade Runner, Wrightsville Beach
  • Blue Surf Café in Racine Commons, Wilmington
