Brian Mayberry, founder of Dixie Grill, has announced that his Mexican restaurant, slated to open at 215 Princess St. next month, will be called Capricio.

Mayberry said the name can be translated from Spanish to mean "a whim" or "craving."
The 25-seat restaurant will serve authentic Mexican fare and is expected to open in about three weeks.

Mayberry is also putting the finishing touches on another project, The Roadhouse, (formerly named The Dixie Roadhouse) at 4001 Wrightsville Ave. The Roadhouse will feature classic American fare and is expected to open in May.

PinPoint Restaurant will reopen today following a weeklong closure for restroom renovations. Co-owner Dean Neff said customers will find several new menu items for spring upon re-opening.

Meanwhile, PinPoint pastry chef Lydia Clopton confirmed that she is hopeful plans for a bakery in the South Front development on Greenfield Street will be finalized shortly.

Las Olas Mexi-Q Grill is now named kBueno Mexi-Q Grill, according to owner Josh Vach.

The name change came as a result of a trademark concern with another restaurant. Vach said the name is the only thing that is changing; everything else will stay exactly the same.
