One of Wilmington’s breweries was honored recently at the N.C. State Fair’s 2016 N.C. Brewers’ Cup competition, organized by the N.C. Craft Brewers Guild.
Front Street Brewery took home second place in the Commercial English Pale Ale category, with its Amberjack English ESB.
Front Street took a third place award in the Commercial Specialty Beer category, with its Muscadine Cabernet Barrel Aged Sour Ale.
In the competition’s fifth year, there were 651 total entries, composed of 477 commercial entries and 174 home-brew entries.
