Farmin', the company formerly known as Carolina Farmin’, has launched a new wholesale bakery division, known as Nanny's Stock.

Nanny's Stock offers classic Southern desserts including pies, cakes, pastries, confections, biscuits and breads. The Farmin' wholesale division, Farmin' Exchange, currently serves more than 100 local restaurants, grocery stores, farm stands, retirement communities and schools with produce, dairy, meat and seafood. With Nanny’s Stock, Farmin’ is looking to add bakery items to that list of goods.

The bakery is located at Farmin's Creative Campus in Wilmington. The 25,000-square-foot facility was opened when the company decided to shift gears from the Carolina Farmin' retail operation to wholesale distribution. Rebranded as Farmin’, the company now focuses on bringing regionally grown produce, meats and dairy products to the campus where they are packaged, prepared and distributed to wholesale clients.

The campus contains a creamery, butcher shop, a produce facility, a production kitchen, the new bakery and will soon house a seafood production facility, according to director of culinary innovation Randy Tugwell.

Farmin' bakery offerings are currently being served at a number of locations in the Wilmington area, including Hell's Kitchen, Chops Deli, The Post Cafe, Fork 'n' Cork and Pizzetta’s in Leland.
