Pasofino is slated to open next month at 29 Van Campen Blvd. off Market Street, owners said recently. Co-owner Ricardo Delgado said the restaurant’s grand opening is expected to be Aug. 7.

He said Pasofino would serve lunch and dinner seven days a week. In addition to carry-out and catering, Delgado said the Hispanic restaurant also plans to provide delivery services.

“The food is all fresh and prepped on site,” he said, adding that the menu would feature Hispanic foods from a variety of countries.

Daily drink specials will be available, along with a fully stocked bar and domestic beer selection, he said.

Delgado said there also are plans to hold free weekly salsa, merengue and bachata dance lessons. An instructor will lead the lessons every Wednesday night for the public.

The 5,500-square-foot building, which holds up to 200 people with seating for 170, has been the site of several restaurants in recent years. Most recently it housed Port City Craft House, which opened in the fall of 2014 and closed earlier this year. Before that, it was a Buck Wild BBQ Saloon and a Buffalo Wild Wings.
