Two Kousins Restaurant and Sports Bar is Carolina Beach’s newest family restaurant. Cousins Michael Mancuso and Patricia Crofton are serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual, coastal setting.

The breakfast menu features traditional fare such as eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and country fried steak, while the lunch menu focuses on deli sandwiches prepared with Boar’s Head Meats. Deli meats figure as well in house-made salads such as tuna, chicken salad, egg salad and potato salad, which are also sold by the pound.

For dinner, Mancuso, who previously owned a number of bagel shops on Long Island, has incorporated some of his favorite Italian dishes such as Mussels and Clams Marinara and Italian Sausage and Peppers. There is also a Bison Burger, an Angus Burger and a number of seafood platters.

"The Italian dishes have been very popular,” Mancuso said. “We offer a lot of variety but keep our menu small because we want to be good at everything we do, including service and consistency.”

The restaurant is situated at the front of the Lake Park Landing Center, 1140 N. Lake Park Blvd. There are plenty of large booths, ideal for family dining, as well as a large patio. The bar is located in the rear, separating it from the majority of the dining area.

Mancuso says the restaurant’s hours will extend as necessary but he anticipates serving dinner until 10 p.m., at which point the kitchen will close, but the bar will remain open. There are seven televisions and all of the sports packages will be available, according to Mancuso.
