Market Street motorists may have noticed the bright orange food truck parked in front of the Catch restaurant recently. The Wing Star truck is the latest venture of chef Keith Rhodes and it is set to make its debut at the opening of Flytrap Brewing on Oct. 15.

The truck will feature eight flavors of wings, both traditional and boneless, as well as Tennessee-style hot chicken sandwiches.

“We’ve been working on these sauces for a while and they’re really pretty special,” Rhodes said. “You won’t find anything else like them out there.”

All of the items served on the truck will be under $10 dollars, Rhodes said, and customers will find sides such as traditional Southern collards, potato salad, cucumber salad and Hawaiian sweet rolls. Daily specials and truck locations will be posted to Wing Star’s Facebook page as well as on Instagram.

The truck is outfitted with TVs so that customers can have access to games. Rhodes hopes to pair his truck's stops with live music performances at as many locations as possible.

More details will be released about Flytrap Brewing’s grand opening.
