Pints For A Good Cause

Front Street Brewery is one of 69 craft breweries participating in the Ales for ALS campaign, which raises money for the research and development of treatments for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The campaign supports the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI). Participating brewers receive a special blend of experimental hops donated by B.T. Loftus Ranches and HopUnion.  From these hops each brewery crafts its own signature beer.

Front Street Brewery released its brew, Ironhorse Pale Ale, last week.

“We are thrilled to work with Loftus Farms and our friends at HopUnion to support ALS research, and Front Street Brewery will donate $1 from every pint of Ironhorse sold to the ALS Therapy Development Institute,” said marketing director Ellie Craig.

“The blend of experimental varieties that Loftus has created for this year's ‘Ales for ALS’ program is exciting for our brewers to work with,” Craig said. “This golden-hued pale ale has a nice malt backbone to provide support for the bitterness and big hop aroma from the blend.”

Ironhorse Pale Ale will be available exclusively on tap in July and August at Front Street Brewery, located at 9 N Front St.
