New Eatery Slated For Rocky Point

By J. Elias O'Neal, posted Mar 17, 2014
A new Mexican eatery will soon join the tenant lineup at a Rocky Point retail center.

Terry Quinn, a broker and Realtor with the Vance Young Team of Wilmington-based Intracoastal Realty, said Monday he recently leased a 1,500-square-foot unit to Taco Point in the Rocky Point Shopping Center at the intersection of U.S. Highway 117 and N.C. Highway 210.

Quinn said the three-year lease was signed in November for an undisclosed amount. He said the restaurant owners will soon upfit their new location.

No timeline for construction or opening date has been released.

Taco Point owner Nancy Romero could not be reached for comment Monday afternoon.

With Taco Point taking over the 1,500-square-foot space, Quinn said only a 1,200-square-foot unit remains in the nearly 6,000-square-foot retail center that is anchored by Food Lion.
