A Lowes Foods-anchored shopping center in Shallotte is scheduled to be put up for auction next month, according to Auction.com.
The auction for Shallotte Commons, an 85,757-square-foot retail center at 5051 Main St., is set to begin April 27, with a starting bid of $1.3 million, and end April 29, Auction.com says.
An agent with Berkeley Capital Advisers, who is listed as a contact in the center's auction information online, said Thursday that he had no comment about the sale.
Located on nearly 8 acres, Shallotte Commons is owned by BCAM 2007-3 5051 LLC and NC LLC and has an appraised value of more than $7.2 million, according to Brunswick County property tax records.
The center, built in 1984, also has a 93.47 occupancy rate and net operating income of $46,837, the Auction.com listing states.
“The diverse rent roll is comprised of local, regional, and national tenants,” the listing says. “The remaining vacancies offer investors the opportunity to capitalize on the active leasing market.”
Other current tenants include Gold's Gym and Rent-A-Center.
