Labor Finders Finds Larger Office Space

By Cece Nunn, posted Aug 28, 2014
The Wilmington branch of Labor Finders, a business that provides companies with temporary day laborers, relocated to 1201 S. 16th St. recently after 10 years at 3901 Wrightsville Ave.

The company needed a newer office that was a little more centrally located, said Kevin Blanchard, branch manager for Labor Finders. Lynn Harris of Century 21 Sweyer & Associates represented the landlord in the transaction, which involved a five-year lease, Harris said.

Many of the businesses that use Labor Finders in Wilmington are part of the construction industry, Blanchard said, often needing workers for commercial and road projects. In the four months he’s led the Wilmington branch, business has increased, and in the past few weeks, three temporary workers have been hired for full-time jobs, he said.

Including its new Wilmington location, which opened in July, Labor Finders has 10 offices in North Carolina.
