Financial Services Firm Opens Near Mayfaire

By J. Elias O'Neal, posted Apr 2, 2014
A firm that specializes in financial planning recently opened an office in one of Wilmington’s emerging financial districts.

Shannon Ackermann Sandlin, a financial advisor with Edward Jones, said Tuesday her new division within the growing organization is now open at 1430 Commonwealth Drive, Suite 100. It is taking over 1,300 square feet of office space in an office building at the Eastwood and Military Cutoff roads intersection near Mayfaire.

Chuck Lydon, broker and senior vice president of Wilmington-based Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners, completed the lease transaction for an undisclosed amount.

Sandlin said her firm moved into its new offices in February. She said the offices include a full conference room, private offices, kitchen and updated restroom facilities.

Edward Jones specializes in a variety of financial planning sectors ranging from retirement income strategies to long-term care insurance.
