Local Firm's Network Ranks No. 1 In Transactions By Coldwell Banker

Wilmington-based residential real estate firm Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, along with the Coldwell Banker Advantage family of companies, was recently named the No. 1 brokerage in North America for closed transactions in 2019 by Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.

The results show that the Coldwell Banker Advantage team successfully assisted clients with nearly 20,000 transactions in 2019, achieving a sales volume in excess of $4.7 billion, according to a news release.
 
“We are very proud of this achievement because it indicates the level of trust and confidence that our clients have in us,” said Tim Milam, president of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, in the release. “Our agents, management and staff are committed to providing the highest level of service and the customer experience is our top priority.”

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage is one of the largest real estate firms in Southeastern North Carolina and sells homes n New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Onslow and Carteret counties. The firm by itself had a total 2019 closed sales volume in excess of $2 billion and more than 7,900 closed sales transactions.

Sea Coast Advantage was founded in Wilmington in 1988 and joined Coldwell Banker in 1993. The firm includes 675 real estate agents across 21 offices in Southeast North Carolina, in top areas such as Wilmington, Leland, Jacksonville, Carolina Beach, Topsail Island, Hampstead, Southport, Sneads Ferry, Havelock, South Brunswick, Oak Island, Holden Beach and Calabash.
 
In addition to Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, the Coldwell Banker Advantage family of companies includes Coldwell Banker Advantage in Raleigh, Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and the Triad; Coldwell Banker Willis-Smith in New Bern; and Coldwell Banker Chicora Advantage, which serves the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand area.
 
"The firm has experienced continued growth in recent years, partially due to its emphasis on creating a network of strategically placed offices staffed with experienced agents and managers with a vast degree of expertise in their respective markets," according to the release. "Today, this network encompasses 52 offices and more than 1,600 agents."
